Metempsychotic Modernists

The Adventures of Virginia Woolf

Well, it’s been said…about films…by Samuel Goldwyn  ”If you want to send a message, call Western Union.”

Mostly, I tend to agree with Mr Goldwyn.

So in this neon animation, my latest, THE ADVENTURES of VIRGINIA WOOLF, I’ve tried not to be didactic.  However, in it, there’s definitely something I wanted to say.

I was thinking about psychology, cognitive thought processes, existentualism, stream-of-consciousness, optimism and proactivity.

Contemplating about how when a person kills themselves…who knows the unlived fun life… they might have led…the life that was just around the corner.  Which made me wonder about the fun yet to be had in my own life.   And this reminded me to do my laundry… instead of focusing all my time on making neon animations.  I need clean clothes.  And fresh socks and underwear in anticipation of the fun times ahead.

Anyway, from these themes, THE ADVENTURES of VIRGINIA WOOLF evolved.

Here’s hoping  I’ve done the admirable Virginia Woolf  justice.
